All company-leased vehicles must be electric, and electric or hybrid cars are prioritized for rentals.
Through Lifecycle Management and Circular IT services, we oversee the full lifecycle of IT devices—from procurement to reuse and recycling—minimizing waste and environmental impact. Cloud-based solutions further reduce the need for physical infrastructure and energy-intensive on-premises servers.
In 2025, itm8 committed to the SBTi framework as part of its overarching sustainability strategy. This commitment ensures that our climate goals are both ambitious and scientifically validated, guiding our efforts to reduce emissions across operations and our value chain. As part of this commitment, itm8 has set the following science-based targets (currently under SBTi review).
Social Responsibility itm8 promotes diversity and inclusion to ensure an equitable workplace. It also supports customers in complying with GDPR through services that ensure ethical and lawful data handling.
Economic Sustainability By helping businesses digitize and automate processes, itm8 drives efficiency and cost reduction. Flexible “as-a-service” models allow customers to scale IT resources as needed, avoiding unnecessary expenditures.
Governance and Risk Management Sustainability is embedded in itm8’s governance structure, including whistleblowing mechanisms and ESG-aligned risk management practices.
Looking Ahead itm8 is developing a strategic Decarbonization Plan with clear priorities, actionable steps, and realistic milestones to guide its transition to a low-carbon future. Additionally, itm8 is working on automated sustainability reporting for products and services purchased via its E-shop. CO₂ calculations are already available for select services, such as Virtual Server, with plans to expand coverage across the portfolio.

2. How does itm8 ensure responsible business practices, including human rights, anti-corruption, and supplier compliance?
itm8 is firmly committed to ethical business conduct, guided by the principles of professionalism, fairness, and integrity. The company adheres to the UN Universal Declaration of Human Rights and maintains a zero-tolerance policy toward human rights violations, bribery, and corruption. These values are embedded in itm8’s Code of Conduct, which serves as the foundation for its ethical framework.
To support transparency and accountability, itm8 offers a whistleblower system accessible to both employees and external stakeholders. The company’s Anti-Corruption and Competition Policy outline expectations for staff, including rules on gifts, third-party interactions, and supplier relationships. Key measures include:
- A Gift and Hospitality Policy
- Mandatory anti-bribery training for employees
- Anti-bribery and other compliance-targeted clauses in itm8 standard agreements
Supplier compliance is managed through a streamlined and resilient supply chain structure. While recognizing potential risks of Code of Conduct violations, itm8 considers these risks limited due to its reliance on suppliers primarily based in Denmark and Western Europe. The company actively monitors its supply chain and prioritizes partnerships with reputable, transparent vendors to ensure alignment with human rights standards.
